Invoice Flow is free to install. Some features require a paid subscription. This page explains how that subscription is billed, renewed, cancelled and refunded. It forms part of the Terms of Service.
1. Everything goes through Google Play
We do not process payments ourselves and we hold no card details. Purchases, renewals, price changes, taxes and refunds are handled by Google Play under the Google Play Terms of Service.
One practical consequence: the subscription only works in a copy of the app installed from Google Play with the same Google account that bought it. A sideloaded APK cannot verify a purchase.
2. Plans and prices
The current plans, and the exact price in your local currency including any tax, are always the ones shown on the purchase screen in the app and on the Google Play listing. Prices differ by country because Google converts and applies local tax rules; the figure you see in Play is the figure you pay.
TODO(owner): once the products are final in Play Console, list the plan names, billing periods and reference prices here, and keep this table in sync with the Play Console products.
3. Free trial and introductory offers
If a plan is offered with a free trial or an introductory price, the terms are shown before you confirm. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, it converts into a paid subscription automatically at the standard price. A trial can normally be used only once per Google account.
4. Renewal
Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period, charged to your Google Play payment method, until you cancel. Google notifies you of price increases in advance and asks you to accept them.
5. Cancelling
Cancel any time in the Play Store: Play Store → profile icon → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Invoice Flow → Cancel subscription. You can also open play.google.com/store/account/subscriptions.
Cancelling stops the next charge. You keep paid features until the end of the period you already paid for. Uninstalling the app does not cancel the subscription — cancel in Play first.
6. What happens to your data if you stop paying
Nothing is deleted. Your invoices, clients and history stay on your device and remain readable and exportable. Only the paid features stop being available. Resubscribing restores them.
7. Refunds
Refunds are issued by Google, not by us:
- Within 48 hours of purchase you can usually request a refund directly at your Play order history — this is the fastest route.
- After 48 hours, request it through Google Play support. Google decides.
- If Google declines and you believe the charge was wrong — the app did not work as described, you were billed twice, or the purchase was not yours — write to [email protected] with the order ID from your Play receipt. We will look into it and, where the fault is ours, ask Google to refund on your behalf.
8. Statutory withdrawal rights (EU/EEA and UK)
Consumers in the EU/EEA and the UK have a 14-day right of withdrawal for digital purchases. That right can be waived when you ask for immediate access to digital content and acknowledge the loss of the right; Google's purchase flow handles that acknowledgement. Where the right still applies, exercise it through Google Play, or contact [email protected] if you cannot.
9. Restoring a purchase
Reinstall the app from Google Play and sign in with the Google account used for the purchase — the entitlement is restored automatically. If it does not appear, force-stop and reopen the app, check you are on the right account, and if it is still missing contact [email protected].
10. Changes to plans
We may change what is included in a plan or introduce new plans. Existing subscribers keep the terms they bought under until their next renewal, and Google requires your explicit consent before any price increase takes effect.
